Hello and thanks for taking a look at my site. My name is Richard and I am a sound therapist practicing in Northwest London, UK. If you’re looking for ways to relax, unwind, recharge and find a little peace and stillness in this busy city, you’re in the right place. The soothing sounds and calming vibrations of a sound bath are designed to help you quieten the mind, reduce tension, and restore a sense of balance in both the body and mind.
A sound bath is a form of sound therapy where participants are immersed in soothing sounds, often produced by instruments like gongs, singing bowls, chimes and drums. The idea is that these vibrations can help promote relaxation, reduce stress, and even improve mental clarity. The "bath" aspect comes from the idea that the sound surrounds you, much like being immersed in water. People typically lie down or sit comfortably with their eyes closed while the sound waves wash over them, creating a meditative experience.
The vibrations are believed to stimulate the parasympathetic nervous system, which helps trigger the body’s natural relaxation response. People often report feeling more grounded, centered, and refreshed after a session, with many using it as a tool for emotional healing, mental clarity, and physical relaxation.
I can provide a sound bath at a location of your choice in North, West or Central London (other areas are possible, get in touch to discuss). This can be either 1 to 1 or for a small group (up to 10 people). A session will run for about 90 minutes with the sound bath taking about 50 minutes. I am available on the weekend and evenings during the week, except for Monday nights during school terms.

1 to 1: £55

I am originally from Australia and have been living in London for 10 years. I became interested in sound therapy after receiving a sound bath for the first time in 2023. I fell in love with the sound of the gong and had a very strong feeling that working with sound would be a part of my life going forward. In 2024 I gained a Sound Healing Diploma from the Middlesex School of Complementary Medicine and started practicing.
